ASANTE TRADITIONAL BUILDINGS

Working with Community Consortium, Craterrre, and local stakeholders, we undertook an initial condition assessment survey of ten traditional buildings located within the Asante Region of Ghana around Kumasi and Obuasi in partnership with the Ghana Museums and Monuments Board and Craterre. The purpose of this assessment was to inform a possible future comprehensive planning initiative centered around materials conservation, community building, and economic development.

Authorship (Independent): Community Consortium working with Craterre, Emily Williamson - consultant for architectural and landscape condition assessment surveys, graphic design, and book layout.
